I didn't find any real documentation on the <translation> tag in either https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:AppData#app-data-validate_usage or https://www.freedesktop.org/software/appstream/docs/sect-Metadata-Application.html#spec-appdata-filespec.
