It seems lru-cache is not actually used unless BUILD_MATERIAL_EXTERNAL=ON,
so maybe it is okay to just remove it?

This leaves zipios++ and SMESH as the bundled libraries, which are both
forks that have significantly diverged from upstream. The older specs
include an option for external zipios but this no longer works.

FreeCAD also has its own test suite for zipios:
