It seems lru-cache is not actually used unless BUILD_MATERIAL_EXTERNAL=ON, so maybe it is okay to just remove it? This leaves zipios++ and SMESH as the bundled libraries, which are both forks that have significantly diverged from upstream. The older specs include an option for external zipios but this no longer works.
