long time a go there was a bug open in GO that go didn't work with https / user in proxy
and then was other in special characters in the password. If you have a proxy: myproxy=http://user:pass@server:port export http_proxy=$myproxy export https_proxy=$myproxy export HTTP_PROXY=$myproxy export HTTPS_PROXY=$myproxy before go get if you have special character like # or : @ in the password, try to escape to http values ie `%20C` (not an actual one, just to show how they look) them.
