Hi PacketFence-Devel, We have been running Packet Fence successfully for some time in VLAN isolation mode without registration. Now we want to use the registration feature but with a grace period for new users who may not know their account details at the start of term. These features are in the documentation but when I enable them and restart Packet Fence I get the message :
“Checking configuration sanity... FATAL - registration skip_mode is currently incompatible with VLAN isolation” This is mentioned in the PF Bug Tracking System but with Resolution 'suspended' and Status 'closed' . Are there any plans to make skip_mode (registration grace period) compatible with VLAN isolation in the near future? Is there a work around? I am currently running packetfence-2.2.1-1.el5.noarch.rpm on CentOS 5.
