I was going to remove skip mode because I knew it didn't work with VLAN isolation and I had never heard of a user of it in the last two years. You just saved that feature at the last minute! I won't remove it but I don't think we'll be able to make that work in time for 3.0 unless you would consider sponsoring the feature or helping with development time. > This is mentioned in the PF Bug Tracking System but with Resolution > 'suspended' and Status 'closed' . Can you re-open it or tell me what is the ticket #? I'll re-open it. > > Are there any plans to make skip_mode (registration grace period) > compatible with VLAN isolation in the near future? Now that we have a user, yes! > Is there a work around? > Warning: it's a hack You could add a button to the portal that would register the user and set an unregdate to a fixed near-future value. If you set expire_mode to window and a expire_window of 999w then the unregdate value would be enforced by pfmon and your users would be unregistered at the proper date. However nothing could prevent them to click the button again so for that you could put something in the notes field and check it before allowing a grace period. -- Olivier Bilodeau obilod...@inverse.ca :: +1.514.447.4918 *115 :: www.inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (www.sogo.nu) and PacketFence (www.packetfence.org) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get a FREE DOWNLOAD! and learn more about uberSVN rich system, user administration capabilities and model configuration.
