Hello all,
Since the time I upgraded to 1.9.1 PF's captive portal has not worked
when authenticating against freeRadius. radtest works fine ; it just
doesn't work from PF.
The 1.9.1 UPGRADE file has :
- Captive portal using mod_perl
The captive portal's default mode of operation relies on mod_perl now.
The benefit is a tremendous performance gain. If you experience problems
with authentication after you upgraded make sure that the cgi file has the
proper 'use lib' statements to load the authentication modules in conf/.
Default configurations should not have any issues.
and I've been through the pf/cgi-bin files - all the 'use lib'
statements are the originals and look fine.
I've pored through the logs and can find nothing that seems
relevant. (But, then, am not exactly certain what I'm looking for.)
Can someone who this works for - or has got it to work - comment ?

Ps. I did *not* upgrade over the existing 1.9.0 installation (should I
have ?) but did a fresh install of 1.9.1 and diff'ed the changes in
configs.
