Hello! We would like to deploy PacketFence on our company network. The network however is made of a number of HP Procurve 54nn which are not marked as supported on the "supported switches page" at http://www.packetfence.org/about/supported_switches_and_aps.html.
I don't know how the HCL is built. The HP Procurve 5406zl we are using supports SNMP3 and port security however it is not in the HCL so why is it not supported? Is it safe to deploy PacketFence on our environment or is it better to change our hardware with HP Procurve swithches listed in the HCL? Thank you.
