Just what I was looking for :) I'll be playing around with it.

On the registration topic, what kind of functionality (as far as keeping track
of the user) do you lose in these 2 situations:

a) Having someone registered for 1 month without reregistering

b) Having someone register every 15 days for a month.

I see that the logs keep most of the information we need, but is there anything
I'm not thinking of that we would lose out when a user becomes unregistered?

Antonio,

For this kind of auto-reg, you might want to have a look in
lib/pf/vlan/custom.pm . Look at the shouldAutoRegister method, you will have
an example in there.

I was reading the previous e-mails for auto-registration for devices with
certain names, but is there a way to register 802.1x users only? We want to
bypass the registration page for 802.1x users (since they are authenticating
via a proxy RADIUS). What would be the best way to go about this?

After a lot of tweaks, we are finally getting close to having the behavior we
want :) Great product!
