Marlon,

I don't use ZEN image. But I configured following ZEN just about VLAN types on Cisco 2950 and on PF VM (normal, registration, isolation ...). I did not configured ranges on Cisco 2950, just virtual interfaces for each VLAN on VM Centos and for Cisco I did same name convention used on ZEN guide for each VLAN's name.

If I want to test with a XP client with 802.1X and without, Should I need any Windows component, like IAS?
No, you only need at least SP3 on your Windows XP. You need to configure 802.1X in the interface properties.

I just need to demonstrate how NAC works, working with snort and these 802.1X conditions, present or not.

I'm using /usr/loca/pf/conf/user.conf, not (/etc/raddb;users). If I want to test this user what steps should I do?
You are aware that 802.1X does **REQUIRE** a RADIUS server to handle the EAP requests?

My 2 cents...you should definitely use the ZEN version instead, everything is included in the VM with pre-configured users for 802.1X and the portal so you can easily try those features. We created that VM to ease the installation specifically for people that are not fully comfortable with the technologies we use.
