Hello,
For now I'm using PacketFence Zen 2.1 to see if I can use your NAC in
production environment.
But I use static IP for some VLAN(s). How to deal with this computer?
The best solution I see, is to use 802.1x functionality for this nodes, but it
seems my switch is not supported :
pf::WebAPI(15941) ERROR: Wired 802.1X is not supported on switch type
pf::SNMP::HP::Procurve_4100. Please let us know what hardware you are using.
(pf::SNMP::supportsWiredDot1x)
Apr 27 14:00:23 pf::WebAPI(15941) WARN: Sending REJECT since switch is
unsupported (pf::radius::_switchUnsupportedReply)
>> I choose 4100 HP switch in pf even if in reality the switch are 5412 zl
>> Procurve HP. It works well with port-security.
My host is a Windows 7 computer and I work with VMware Workstation 7.1.4
build-385536
Do you have any solution?
Another question: As I use PF-zen I always see the host Mac address in
violation, or isolation. So I can't do anything with my host, because the NIC
are placed into violation or isolationVLAN.
I cannot use the uplink parameters because it's not on a switch port but in
local. But I can go to the admin web page of PacketFence.
Do I miss something? Is this the normal behavior?
Thank you for what you can do.
Best regards.
