Hello,
Was just wondering if anybody knows of any upcoming support for Foundry
Fastiron WS and GS switches using 802.1x authentication. According to
the documentation the only Foundry switch currently supported is the
Fastiron 4802. I tried to "fool" Packetfence by telling it my FWS24GP
was a 4802 but it didn't work because the 4802 doesn't support wired
802.1x according to what I read in the Packetfence.log file. We're
pretty much dead in the water in regards to using Packetfence as a
result as we have a number of Foundry switches throughout our Res Living
areas on campus. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
