Have you tried the port-security implementation of the 4802 instead of 802.1X? It might work as is. We can add support for the foundry if you want. Ask your vendor to contact us (you gave them business after all) or you can fund it yourselves. Supporting 802.1X is pretty easy so it's not that much effort we are talking days.
