Francois,

Cool!  SNMPTRAPD was getting started by the system (don't ask how or why) so 
even I :) know to use CHKCONFIG to remove it from the system startup scripts, 
and Wala!, PF VLAN switching works on server reboot! 

Now if I could only figure out why the Firewall needs reloading after server 
boot before it will allow SSH connections ;-}.
