Hmm... that's exactly what I just took out of the system startup scripts, i.e. iptables (CHKCONFIG). I guess this goes for NAMED too, I just took it out too. Seems I'd be mistakenly starting DHCPD in the system startup scripts too, but it's in there with all run levels off so I guess it's okay. Thanks!
