Hi,
I'm working on my first PF install and I need to configure PF to do captive
portal and manage guest wireless access on a separate guest SSID and was
hoping to get some assistance since there is no real documentation on it.
My basic setup I'm working with is:
Cisco 1252ag Access Point --------- 4400 WLC ------------ Cisco 3560 L3 SW
----------- ESX Server with PF Zen 3.0.1 altered for vlan inforcement
instead of inline
On the controller I have a public WLAN, open and configured for 802.1x for
layer 2 security(not sure if this is correct). It's WLAN interface is
currently configured for the registration vlan and I also have other
interfaces on the controller for the guest and mac detection. Radius is
configured on this WLAN pointing to PF.
My test laptop is connecting to the AP on the Guest SSID but failing to
grab an IP in the registration vlan. PF sees the mac of this laptop in the
GUI, but it looks like its seeing it coming from the management vlan
interface 10.0.10.254 on the 3560 switch and not one of the 3 PF vlans on
the controller. The download of PF Zen has a 10.0.10.x "management" network
that I'm using for the controller's ap-manager and management interfaces in.
Can anyone help troubleshoot what might be going on, or let me know what
settings are required to get this setup to work? Any help would greatly be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott
