Hello,
I know that this is a simple (and probably dumb) question,
but I am still having problems getting interaction between a computer
hooked into my Cisco switch (3550) and the ZEN PF Virtual Machine. I
defined all the Vlans on the switch (1,2,3,4,5,10) and allowed the trunk
link access to all of them. My two questions are:

1) When working with virtual interfaces/trunks...on my host linux box
(physical Ethernet port) do I need to assign IP address (in the
10.0.10.0/24network) or do I leave it as DHCP // (same with virtual
interfaces/cards
created in VM Workstation)?

2) On my Cisco switch, do I need to add an IP address to each Vlan
interface in order for traffic to pass from the Cisco switch to the PF Zen
VM?

If anyone could help, I would really appreciate. Thank you.
