First time I hear about this one. What version of PacketFence do you
run? I know you said admin guide 3.5.0 but line 270 of pf/config.pm in
3.5.0 is a comment, not code so I'm wondering if you are running an
older version.
Run the following commands and send us the output:
rpm -q packetfence
ls -l /usr/local/pf/conf/{pf,float,network}*.conf*
