Yes, that's what I did - except I used aptitude instead of apt-get for the
update and install commands. However, I just did this to verify the results are
the same:
apt-get update
apt-get install packetfence
The latter resulted in the following output:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
packetfence : Depends: perl-suid but it is not installable
Depends: libiptables-libiptc-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libauthen-htpasswd-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libcatalyst-authentication-store-htpasswd-perl but it
is not going to be installed
Depends: libcatalyst-engine-http-prefork-perl but it is not
going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Just to clarify, I certainly do not use an unstable release of Debian, I've got
Debian Squeeze installed on this system...

Thanks a lot for that! That will definitely help me a lot... Once I can get
this to work :-)
