Hello again,
I've now checked the system, including pf.conf and networks.conf and found that
all the settings were correctly defined here.
However, I then checked some system files, incluuding /etc/network/interfaces
and found that they haven't been modified to reflect any changes.
For example, the interfaces file was still the way I configured it during
setup, only defining eth0 and none of the other interfaces which I configured
from within the Pf wizard. Also, I realized that the DHCP daemon is unable to
start, as apparently no listener interfaces were defined by Pf, explaining why
I can't get a network connection to the machine and then get an IP from DHCP.
So, it looks like Pf registered all the settings I specified during setup, but
then only wrote them to its own config file without applying them to the actual
system...
What can I do in this case? Can someone please help me and explain what is
going wrong?
I'm using Debian Squeeze here, and installed Pf from the Deb repository...
Many thanks!
Robin
