Hey All,
After finally getting Packetfence 4.0.0 installed and configured as inline
only, I attempted to test out guest self registration through the captive
portal. I'm using this guest registration as part of a wifi guest
network(wide open, no authentication on the SSID). When I connect to my
guest wifi, I'm issued an IP address with the proper gateway config(PF
inline interface as gateway) and DNS. If i try to visit a webpage, I'm
forwarded to the captive portal page where I'm able to register correctly
and have an SMS message successfully sent to my phone. After entering in
the SMS pin, instead of PF allowing me web access, a message appears
stating "You have reached the maximum number of devices you are able to
register with this username." ln the web admin interface, I clicked on
roles and changed the guest role from 0 to 1 but I'm still not able to
visit any websites. I'm using the email address as the PID. Any suggestions?
