I have read the documentation on Packetfence and have a basic question
regarding how it works. For the purpose of this message, I am only
interested in its use in a wireless environment.
I understand perfectly that the registration page resides on a particular
SSID and enables PF to decide what SSID the device should be re-directed
to. I also understand that various techniques are deployed to boot the
device off of the registration SSID, but I do not understand how it is
persuaded, at that point, to re-associate with the desired "production"
SSID. If someone would explain this to me I would be very grateful.
