This looks correct.  The whole port-security mac-address bit seems like
a hack of sorts to me.  If it's working properly, you'll see these
messages every time a new machine is plugged into the switch.  This
triggers a trap that's sent to packetfence.  Packetfence identifies the
MAC, determines if it's registered or not, and acts accordingly.  If the
user is authenticated, it updates the config on the switch with the new MAC.

The node likely can't be deleted because there are still locationlog
entries.

network guide?  Is SNMP working from the packetfence server to the
switch?  And are SNMP Traps making it from the switch to the packetfence
server?
