Hello.

Anyone have any experience with DELL 55xx switches?

Seems the SNMP.pm can not extract the MAC address of a device when the port
comes up. The port is put into the correct MAC detection VLAN (via telnet
session), but it just times out on SNMP request(s) of MAC address.

--[snip]--
WARN: couldn't get MAC at ifIndex xx. This is a problem.
(pf::SNMP::_getMacAtIfIndex)
--[snip]--

Where xx is whatever port the SNMP trap reported just came up.

Sadly, this is v 2.2 from 2011 and I can not upgrade. :(

Everything works fine with all the earlier DELL 34xx devices on campus.

I can give a sample tcpdump from a working 34xx stack and this non-working
55xx stack. tcpdump from 55xx stack shows quite a few snmp requests and
responses, but I am not sure what OIDs I am looking for. I _DO_ see MAC
addresses of test machines (in decimal dotted format) in the snmp responses
for some of the OIDs

I can also offer an snmpwalk of a 34xx and a 55xx stack if that helps.

Kind of reaching a deadline here. :-/

Please let me know if there is anything else I can offer to help make this new
stack work with our current 2.2 packetfence server.

Thanks for any help!
