OK, so the Dell 62xx switches are pretty much like the 34xx switches with
regards to the MAC addresses of devices attached to ports being able to be
obtained by the included SNMP.pm

But, same as the #4xx switches, it required a few minor changes to the the
telnet strings. Which does not help me at all with the 55xx switches, but it
does help you. :)

The SNMP.pm included in the current version of PacketFence works fine to
determine the MAC address of the device connected to a 6xx switch.

Use the attached (hacked, ugly, but works) PowerConnect6224.pm file in place
of the PowerConnect3424.pm module to set the VLAN of the port.

Put this file in:

/usr/local/pf/lib/pf/SNMP/Dell

Then edit your 62xx switch to use this new module, and restart pfsetvlan

/usr/local/pf/bin/pfcmd service pfsetvlan restart

and watch the logs

tail -f /usr/local/pf/logs/*log pfmon

And run the show vlan command on the switch to see if the port changes to the
desired VLAN.

Lemme know if this helps.
