i wrote a litte Shell-Skript for it: ---- #!/bin/bash export LOCALE_DIR=/usr/local/pf/conf/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/ cd $LOCALE_DIR msgfmt packetfence.po --output-file packetfence.mo chown pf:pf packetfence.mo locale-gen pfcmd service httpd.portal restart /etc/init.d/memcached restart --- Just edit the LOCALE_DIR variable. I don't know why but sometimes some translation strings don't get recognized. After i recreated the system locales and restarted the portal it worked again (just if you wonder about the "locale-gen" line).
