Francis, Profiles.conf (unedited from 4.0.5-2 install)
[default] description=Default Profile logo=/common/packetfence-cp.png guest_modes=sms,email,sponsor billing_engine=disabled when I add the sources=local I do get a login prompt, but nothing for registration. I looked at my profiles.conf from 4.0.1 and here it is [default] description=Default Profile logo=/common/packetfence-cp.png guest_self_reg=enabled guest_modes=sms billing_engine=disabled I also went in and added a couple more profiles, so this is currently what it looks like: [default] sources=local description=Default Profile logo=/common/packetfence-cp.png guest_self_reg=enabled guest_modes=sms,email,sponsor billing_engine=disabled [FRMC-Employees] sources=firelands.localAD billing_engine=disabled description=Firelands [VendorAccess] sources=VendorAccess billing_engine=disabled description=Vendors and Guests Still no dice :( Amanda Berlin -----Original Message----- From: Francis Lachapelle [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, August 29, 2013 4:49 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [PacketFence-users] upgrade from 4.0.1 to 4.0.5-2 issues Hi Amanda On 2013-08-29, at 11:01 AM, "Berlin, Amanda - Information Systems" <[email protected]> wrote: > I also tried replacing the entire html directory with my html > directory from 4.0.1. Can you post your conf/profiles.conf file? The default profile must have at least the 'local' authentication source, like this : sources=local > -----Original Message----- > From: Berlin, Amanda - Information Systems > [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Wednesday, August 28, 2013 9:14 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [PacketFence-users] upgrade from 4.0.1 to 4.0.5-2 issues > > Francis, > > I even wiped the entire pf directory, and removed/installed this > morning, with the same result. > > /usr/local/pf/conf/authentication.conf = > > [local] > description=Local Users > type=SQL > > [VendorAccess] > description=VendorAccess > email_activation_timeout=30m > type=Email > allow_localdomain=1 > > [domain.localAD] > description=Domain.local AD > password=******************* > scope=sub > binddn=CN=Packet Fence LDAP,OU=Service > Accounts,OU=IT,OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=local > basedn=DC=domain,DC=local > usernameattribute=sAMAccountName > encryption=none > port=389 > type=AD > host=domain.local > > [VendorAccess rule VendorAccessRule] > description= > match=all > action0=set_role=VendorAccess > > [domain.localAD rule AdminAccessRule] > description=AdminAccessRule > match=all > action0=set_role=AdminAccess > action1=mark_as_sponsor=1 > condition0=memberOf,equals,CN=PacketFenceAdmin,OU=Security,OU=Groups,D > C= > domain,DC=local > > [domain.localAD rule SponsorAccessRule] description=Sponsor Access > Rule match=any action0=set_role=VendorAccess > action1=mark_as_sponsor=1 > condition0=memberOf,equals,CN=PacketFenceSponsors,OU=Security,OU=Group > s, > DC=domain,DC=local > > [domain.localAD rule EmployeeAccessRule] description=EmployeeAcessRule > match=any action0=set_role=EmployeeAccess > action1=set_access_duration=1h > condition0=memberOf,equals,CN=PacketFenceEmployees,OU=Security,OU=Grou > ps > ,DC=domain,DC=local > > Amanda Berlin > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Francis Lachapelle [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Wednesday, August 28, 2013 8:03 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [PacketFence-users] upgrade from 4.0.1 to 4.0.5-2 issues > > Hi Amanda > > On 2013-08-27, at 1:42 PM, "Berlin, Amanda - Information Systems" > <[email protected]> wrote: > >> When upgrading from 4.0.5 I had a couple dependency problems that > forced me to re-install packetfence.
