I rebuilt PF from the ground-up. Got FreeRadius working for MAC auth, etc.
When I do an nslookup on the server it looks to it's local DNS sever
(127.0.0.1) for resolution and I assume that it uses the servers configured
in Configuration>General because it finds google.com just fine.
I plug my test laptop into the switch client gets put in the registration
VLAN and it gets an appropriate IP/DNS/Gateway. It shows up in PF>Nodes as
Unregistered, owner Admin and no Role.
I ping google.com from the test laptop and....google's IP shows up. Not
the gateway for PF.
I check Status > Services and pfdns is stopped and won't start (fresh
install mind you).
Maybe it's because I'm using three physical interfaces instead of one
interface with two VLAN sub interfaces? I dunno.
I hate being defeated but unless someone has some magical insight as too
where I went wrong, I can't justify spending any more time on this project.
