Hi, I think I don't clearly explain my configuration. In fact I use two directories to authenticate my administrative users, one AD for the staff and one LDAP for the rest. I mark all the staff members as sponsors in my sources.
Sponsoring is use for outside peoples who come at meeting with the staff. In the users tab I have only the login of the users when they register. So I think it could be useful to complete their forms by the infos I allready have in my directories specialy during testing time. That why I made a script. My problem is when they have the mail attribut fill, their address is no more valide for sponsoring.
If I remove the mail address, sponsoring works again. As I read your question I think is possible that I have a mis configuration in my sources or maybe in the order they are used.

Hi Fabrice, Have you marked your user has a sponsor in the action tab ?Btw why don´t you use your directory as a source of authentication to check if the user is a sponsor ?Regards Fabrice Le 2013-11-07 09:43, Monnier Fabrice a écrit :Hello I use packetfence 4.0.6-2 and I have some troubles with sponsoring. Sponsorship was fonctionnal a few days ago.Since then I have made a script to fetch users infos from our directories to fill the person table. Now if a user with the mail attribute complete is used as a sponsor the guest see a message saying that this address can't be use as sponsor. In the logs (debug mode) I have the message : No source matches action mark_as_sponsor.If I erase the mail attribute of the user, sponsoring work again.Do I have made some error in my configuration or did I misunderstood somethingFabrice ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ November Webinars for C, C++, Fortran Developers Accelerate application performance with scalable programming models.
