The suggestion from Hari to manage your guest accounts from an LDAP directory is good, but you’ll need to rely on an external tool to manage your directory’s entries. Also, any guest that has registered through PacketFence appears on the Users page, even if the user has authenticated through a LDAP source. So you end up with a similar problem where the users table (actually named “person”) gets polluted with entries related to users that have possibly been deleted from the original LDAP directory. I think the feature you want is simply missing and should be developed. Like on the Nodes page, we should offer bulk actions on multiple users, including the option to delete the selected users. Notice that deleting a user is currently impossible if it has associated nodes. That should be improved to at least offer the possibility to unregister all associated nodes and remove all history of the user’s data. There are a few opened tickets related to node deletion: http://packetfence.org/bugs/view.php?id=887 http://packetfence.org/bugs/view.php?id=1482 Francis -- [email protected] :: +1.514.755.3640 :: http://www.inverse.ca Inverse :: Leaders behind SOGo (http://sogo.nu) and PacketFence (http://packetfence.org) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shape the Mobile Experience: Free Subscription Software experts and developers: Be at the forefront of tech innovation.
