I'm trying to set up some excluded ports on my switch explicitly within the PF admin interface while I test some settings with 802.1x authentication - however, it does not work correctly regardless if I use the IfIndex value from the switch, or the port # listed in the packetfence.log.
It's almost as if PF is ignoring this - so I guess my question is, does anyone know if packetfence attempts to use the uplink field at all while configured for 802.1x auth via snmpv3/radius, or if this is not used at all? In either case, I would think packetfence would leave all my ports alone that have not been configured for 802.1x ... can someone kindly confirm or deny this? :) INFO: handling radius autz request: from switch_ip => 10.0.0.1, connection_type => Ethernet-EAP mac => 1234.5678.9012, port => 50346, [cid:[email protected]] ********************************************** Email Disclaimer: This email, including attachments, may contain proprietary, confidential or privileged information.
