Fabrice:

I got it to start!

Seems that when cpan built the module it didn't move the module into the perl5 
lib folder, or at least thats where it needed to be.  I don't have much 
experience with cpan, it may be that I was supposed to move it there manually 
after it was built.

Anyway, I got it to install and to start.

sudo cpan install SOAP::Lite

Still getting the compilation error even after a reboot.  Did I miss something?

Yes it´s exactly what i wanted.
So now install SOAP::Lite with cpan.
Also i can remove snort|suricata dep if needed.

For the integration, pfdetectd just look inside a file for all the
alerts, give a look at
https://github.com/inverse-inc/packetfence/blob/stable/conf/suricata.yaml.
