Hi,
I'm working on updating from a 3x version to the current 4x version in
Ubuntu. We are doing inline enforcement only and I have a couple of dns
related dhcp quirks.
1. automatic subdomain via dhcp- Packetfence seems to automatically put
inline in front of your domain when making the dhcpd.conf so that all the
machines want to search inline.marlboro.edu. We used to be able to get rid
of this but now it won't go away by changing networks.conf. I really don't
want to start a separate sub-domain and it has always worked like I wanted
to before without this. Does this actually serve a purpose and if not how
can I make it go away?
2. We like to have a couple of failover dns servers in dhcpd.conf but I
have never been able to find a syntax for networks.conf that will put this
into dhcpd.conf. Is there a way to add multiple dns servers instead of just
one main one?
And sorry if I missed anything obvious in the documentation but I just
don't see it.
