I wish I could help. I did not do upgrade. I am new to this software. We start
with 4.1. I would like to change the webportal text when user fill up prior to
sending it. If you know anything about this, will greatly appreciate it.

Subject: [PacketFence-users] inline dhcp quirks
Hi,
I'm working on updating from a 3x version to the current 4x version in Ubuntu.
We are doing inline enforcement only and I have a couple of dns related dhcp
quirks.
1. automatic subdomain via dhcp- Packetfence seems to automatically put inline
in front of your domain when making the dhcpd.conf so that all the machines
want to search inline.marlboro.edu<http://inline.marlboro.edu>. We used to be
able to get rid of this but now it won't go away by changing networks.conf. I
really don't want to start a separate sub-domain and it has always worked like
I wanted to before without this. Does this actually serve a purpose and if not
how can I make it go away?
2. We like to have a couple of failover dns servers in dhcpd.conf but I have
never been able to find a syntax for networks.conf that will put this into
dhcpd.conf. Is there a way to add multiple dns servers instead of just one main
one?
And sorry if I missed anything obvious in the documentation but I just don't
see it.
