you can use this:
for TRANSLATION in de en es fr he_IL it nl pl_PL pt_BR; do
/usr/bin/msgfmt conf/locale/$TRANSLATION/LC_MESSAGES/packetfence.po \
--output-file conf/locale/$TRANSLATION/LC_MESSAGES/packetfence.mo
done
Btw if you have a better translation you can update
https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/packetfence and it will be
available for the next release.

Is the preferred method to alter the messages within this is to edit the
packetfence.po file directly?
I started editing it but it’s not showing up in my testing - obviously I see
the message in english which means it’s hitting that file. Any ideas on how to
make those changes effective?
