Hi Andi,

RedHat 6 is supposed to have keepalived but you probably have to enable
extra rhel6 repo.
A search on google give me
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/6.4_Technical_Notes/RHEA-2013-0355.html
so it exist.
