Thanks Boris. Unfortunately this didn’t work. I needed to install keepalive
from www.rpmfind.net<http://www.rpmfind.net> selecting the CentOS6 flavour,
which in required me to manually install some various perl,
libnetsnmp.so.20()(64bit) and libsensors.so.4()(64bit) rpms in order to get
that keepalive installed, because of its dependiencies on them. I’m hoping that
this won’t have a knock on effect with PacketFence.
It would be nice, if possible, for us Red Hat users to have keepalive available
as part of the PacketFence repo if it’s going to be such a dependent part.
Cheers,
Andi

dependency
Hello all,
I believe I had to enable rpmforge and epel repositories to get all the
necessary RPM's. But I use CentOS, not RedHat, so this may be different as far
as this is concerned.
Good luck:)
Boris.

I didn't see this with my previous reply. I'll try the CentOS repo.

Thanks Fabrice,
It looks like it's part of the load balancer channel, rather than the base
install. I don't have a subscription for this channel, so does this mean I
can't install PacketFence v5.0.1 on Red Hat 6.6?
Cheers,
Andi

Hi Andi,
RedHat 6 is supposed to have keepalived but you probably have to enable extra
rhel6 repo.
A search on google give me
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/6.4_Technical_Notes/RHEA-2013-0355.html
so it exist.

Fabrice
