I tried adding a list of dns servers in networks.conf as comma separated list, but I am still only getting first DNS server in the list as my DNS server.
This is on a device that I have been testing on for a while. Would it be the case that since PF has seen this device previously, it will send back the same DHCP config as before I added the new DNS server? ________________________________ > From: [email protected] > Date: Tue, 24 Nov 2015 14:30:16 -0500 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [PacketFence-users] Third Party DNS > > > On Nov 24, 2015, at 14:21 , Louis Munro > <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > > Questions: > - Is it possible to add multiple DNS IPs in networks.conf? > > I don’t think that’s supported in 5.2, but it would not be a big > undertaking to modify lib/pf/services/manager/dhcpd.pm to generate a > dhcp config that returns a list of domain-name-servers. > > > Fabrice says I am a dumbass… > It looks like it works in 5.2. > > Just put a comma separated list of dns servers in the networks.conf and > reload the configuration. > You will need to restart the dhcp service for that to take effect. > > > Regards, > -- > Louis Munro > [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> :: > www.inverse.ca<http://www.inverse.ca> > +1.514.447.4918 x125 :: +1 (866) 353-6153 x125 > Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (www.sogo.nu<http://www.sogo.nu>) > and PacketFence (www.packetfence.org<http://www.packetfence.org>) > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Go from Idea to Many App Stores Faster with Intel(R) XDK Give your > users amazing mobile app experiences with Intel(R) XDK.
