Hello everyone,

I try to configure a network with the following topology:

eth0 : a.b.c.2/24 (Public IP)
eth1: d.e.f.2/24 (Public IP) (behind the router)

I planned to have a DHCP server on Packetfence to distribute a private network 192.168.0.0/24 behind eth0. However, I could not find out which network topology I should use on Packetfence.

The things I have tried:

1) Configuring an IP alias eth0:0 for eth0 (on Linux server running Packetfence) and add routed network as 192.168.0.0/24. This does not even distribute IP addresses for clients. 2) Configuring an IP alias eth0:0 for eth0 and configuring a bridge network behind eth0:0 such that I turn DHCP on for br0 on packetfence. This allows me to distribute IP addresses but the clients could not be redirected to captive portal and hence does not connect to internet. 3) I added a routed network on packetfence without any alias or bridge configuration on the server but again this does not work. 4) I added Vlan's on Packetfence to have the specified network on one of them. DHCP didn't work again.

I attach the planned configuration and would like to request help from the community.

Thank you
