Greetings!

It's been a while since I've installed Packetfence and I'm finding that
I don't seem to remember how this works.. :)

So here's the scenario. CentOS 7, latest updates. Grabbed the
packetfence-release RPM from the appropriate location and installed it.
Then I installed packetfence itself. All well and good thus far.

Next step, go to the configurator. Ok, easy enough, but this is where
things break down. For the first go-around I was unable to get past the
Networks configuration screen. I couldn't get anything to stick and so
I started digging through the log files. According to the logs, the
database wasn't available. So, I took a look at the database and, as
the logs indicated, there was none.

Ok, so now we point the web browser back to the configurator page again
and use the links at the top to skip over to the database config. Work
my way through it, get the DB installed, all good to go. Back to the
network page.

Again, can't seem to get the roles to stick. So, more digging in log
files. The logs show that packetfence still can't get to the DB. A bit
more digging reveals that the pfconfig.conf file still has the default
password. So I hand-edit the file, add in the correct password, and try
again.

This time I was able to get the registration and isolation roles
assigned, but only because I disabled them first. I can't do that with
the management network because it results in a loss of connectivity.
So, I can't get the management role assigned, which means I can't get
past the network page.

So what am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
