Huh..  I fixed it.  Turns out, apparently, it was permissions on pf.conf
and pfconfig.conf ...  Not sure how those got out of whack, but all good
now..  I was able to complete the setup.

Now on to the next steps..  Remembering how all of this works together.. :)
