This was down to PF server not having access back onto the managed switch,
resolved now by defining a read community (v2c) or user (v3) and appropriate
credentials to perform the SNMP read on the managed switch.
Problem solved!

I am also getting the following INFO messages as well in PacketFence.log
Up trap received on (x.x.x.x) ifindex 1 which is not ethernetCsmacd
(pf::role::doWeActOnThisTrap)
doWeActOnThisTrap returns false. Stop up handling (main::handleTrap)
finished (main::cleanupAfterThread)
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be highly appreciated.
