Hello Aurélien, inline configuration is really simple.
You just have to plug something in this inline network and you should be able to register on the captive portal. Once registered PacketFence add your mac address in an ipset session in order to allow your device to use PacketFence as a gateway to reach internet. When you do hybrid mode you have to be sure that if even if the device is reg it has to go in the inline network. So in the switch configuration (pf side) set the default role (or the role you defined when the device is reg) to the inline vlan id. Also if you have the content of packetfence.log when you register it will help to solve your issue.
