Hello Aurélien,
The inline mode is built for equipments that do not support radius.
Basically you will have only one VLAN that is in front of PacketFence where PF
is the router (gateway) and DHCP. You can use your DNS or 8.8.8.8.
Once you have your AP in the inline VLAN, the users connect to that SSID, you
will land on the Inline VLAN and you will get an IP from PF.
You will need to register on the portal to get access on the internet.
On the other hand, if you are using a Cisco WLC that has radius capabilities, I
will advise you to use the radius feature.
You can not mix those type of authentication for a device. You could use both,
Inline and Radius authentication but you will need to configure them properly
to not interfere each other.
