Hello Justin,

the logs are managed by logrotate in /etc/logrotate.d/packetfence.

Btw it's not normal to have 60GB of logs, what were the biggest files ?

Regards

Fabrice

Hello everyone
I have a quick question I hope someone can help with. I have been running PacketFence for about a month and in that time it has completely filled a 125GB HDD, which then causes the whole PacketFence system to fail because nothing can be written to the drive. I did some poking around and found that it had created 60GB+ of log files. After deleting them everything went back to normal but I'm sure it will happen again.

So my now for my question, is there a setting to reduce the amount of logging or how long the logs are kept. Also where should I look to find all the log files, because after deleting over 60GB there is still 65GB being used and that can't all be the OS and PacketFence, some has got to be more logs I haven't located.

Thanks for you help
Justin
