Hello Fabrice.

The issue is only when I disconnect the device / when it comes off. The port
won't return to the registration vlan. When I first configure the port, I set
it to the registration VLAN and set it has default. When I plug a device and
getting authenticated through 802.1X, the port is put on the correct VLAN. When
disconnecting, it won't return to the default VLAN which is registration.
Instead, it goes for the VLAN 1.

I wanted to post the packetfence.log when connecting but I'm currently facing
an issue with the violation 1300003 being triggered for no reason (disabled). I
will post it has soon has I resolve this problem.

Btw, the VLAN issue is not due to this violation.

Regards,

Adrian

The issue is just when you disconnect the device, right ?

So let's say you plug a device who is unreg in the switch port, what happen,
does it go in the registration vlan ?

If it's the case then it's not really an issue since the port need to be
authenticate to packetfence to provide access.
