Hi,
I am using PacketFence zen 9 to authenticate 2 wlans on a Cisco 2504 controller (radius, mac filtering). Packetfence has only 1 interface for portal, radius and management (webauth). The dhcp server is external and I am not relaying / spanning dhcp messages to PacketFence. The WLANs (SSID) are: - WIFIHOTSPOT: Open network that can be accessed by anyone. > Role “HOTSPOT", self-register portal with email confirmation, 1 hour access > duration and 12 hour time balance. - WIFIGUEST: Wifi network for users visiting the company and need a longer access time. > Role GUEST, sponsor portal with authorization via e-mail, 8 hours access time > and 12 hours time balance. Each network has its own portal module, conection profile and authentication source. I am using the SSID as filter / condition in conection profile and authentication source (If SSID is "WIFIHOTSPOT" then set role "HOTSPOT", access duration, time balance) ## I have the following problem: When a user connects and registers to the SSID WIFIHOTSPOT, a node is created with the HOTSPOT role. But if, right after that, the user connects and registers to the SSID WIFIGUEST he keeps the HOTSPOT role and consequently the access duration. By checking the radius messages in the "packetfence.log" file, I could verify that when the user connects to another SSID the packet fence considers that is a returning user and keep the initial role. The rest of the process seems to be working fine. Does anyone have any tips on how I can solve this? Thanks, Emannuel Souza
