Hello All,

We used some PF 6.x installation, somewhere with 500+ wireless users, we love PF.
But, we need to upgrade from 6.x to 9.x.

We want a clean installation.
I'm making a KVM VM for testing.
We install Debian 9 from netinstall ISO, completely basic, simple installation.
Basic system, and nothing else.

I add PF source to source lists, and install packefence with apt (apt install packetfence).

But the apt installer always stops!
If i check logs, i see a lot of errors.
I think the main problem, PF debian installer not creat DB-s:
Oct 18 11:07:14 pf2 packetfence: FATAL -e(6720): unable to connect to database: Access denied for user 'pf'@'localhost' at -e line 1.
 (pf::db::db_connect)
We tried twice clean install, but the result is the same.

Someone recently installed a PF from package?
