Hello Nicolas, Thanks for getting back to us - we've just ran pf-maint on all 3 (test) cluster members (in a rolling manner, one server at a time) as well as a full cluster restart afterwards and ... unfortunately it doesn't fix the warning when we start services ie we still get
Checking configuration sanity... WARNING - invalid parameter device_registration for profile default packetfence-api-frontend.service started 3080 However I should state that subsequent to my first post to the list we upgraded our production cluster which now exhibits different behaviour(!): - we do get the same warning on startup - we don't get the pfstats regarding pf.violation doesn't exist. I think I may have tracked down the pfstats error in that during our test cluster upgrade, it warned in the final stages (after reactivating configuration conflict handling) on one of the nodes "FATAL - The PacketFence database schema version '8.2.0' does not match the current installed version '9.1.0'" so I had do the mysql schema updates on one of the cluster members, for the error to go away. But we didn't see that schema problem during the upgrade of our production pf cluster! Everything still seems to work OK, but slightly annoying as I can't now rely on test having the same behaviour as prod :( I may rebuild our test cluster from scratch. Regards, Seb Re: [PacketFence-users] Various errors/warnings following clustered PF upgrade from v8.2 to v9.1 From: Nicolas Quiniou-Briand <nqb@in...> - 2019-12-02 11:07:02 Hello, Try to apply maintenance patches by running /usr/local/pf/addons/pf-maint.pl and restart pf services on one server at a time. I don't know if that will solve issue related to pfstats but that will fix warning when your start services. -- Nicolas Quiniou-Briand nqb@... :: +1.514.447.4918 *140 :: https://inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (https://sogo.nu), PacketFence (https://packetfence.org) and Fingerbank (http://fingerbank.org) This email and any attachments are intended solely for the named recipients and are confidential.
