Hi, I have this situation: after the client enters the credential, packetfence changes the switch ports to the correct VLAN, but after loading the page, the client has the same IP address. To renegotiate the IP address, I need to disconnect and connect the cable or type ipconfig release and renew. Could you give me a hand to resolve this? Thank you very much for your support. Roberto
I had the same problem with switch extreme. In my case it was the switch model that was wrong, and SNMP was not configured. In packetfence in switch configuration type, try all models from your manufacturer. and snmp enable and configure on your switch.
