Intriguingly, there is no reference whatsoever to a mysql.sock in the amarok sources. - From what I can see, and it has been confirmed by another user on IRC, amarok isn't using the socket in the first place. It connects to MySQL using a TCP/IP connection, not the socket. cheers - -- -o) Pascal Bleser http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/ /\\ <[email protected]> <[email protected]> _\_v The more things change, the more they stay insane. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFLDHgzr3NMWliFcXcRAn8mAKC3mkvD55h+IvEcI7eWObLWWdO9KwCfUjCe X/huVAOiqzh/bmh4qCbH1Ec= =CNp0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Packman mailing list [email protected] http://lists.links2linux.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/packman
